Bacterial Typing Antisera

Denka Seiken is one of Japan's pioneering companies manufacturing and marketing bacteriological diagnostic reagents. The bacterial typing antiserum products essentially monopolize clinical microbiology and public health testing laboratories in Japan, and the extensive product lineup of over 550 products for the serotyping of 21 bacteria is internationally acclaimed as being the broadest range in the world. Denka Seiken also boasts broad product lineups in reagents for detecting bacterial toxins such as the E. coli shigatoxin and Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxin. One of our most well-recognized achievements on a global scale in recent years was the launch of a rapid screening reagent to precisely identify methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), which has been a topic of concern in nosocomial infections. While Denka Seiken already has a number of very unique bacteriological diagnostic reagents, we are determined to continue developing similar products to offer rare products that are essential to laboratories and hospitals.
